Guided Trout Fishing Trips
Snake River, Yellowstone, Teton Wilderness
Triangle X Ranch provides professionally guided fly fishing trips in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Fishing trips on the Snake River are entirely in Grand Teton National Park. Early in the season anglers can experience guided fishing trips on the mountain lakes and small spring creeks in Yellowstone. Triangle X Ranch also offers a unique opportunity to pack into Teton Wilderness, to fish some of the most remote waters in the lower 48 states.
Snake River
The famous Snake River hosts one of North America's premier native cutthroat trout fisheries. Whether by fly or spin casting, let one of our professional fishing guides lead you on an unforgettable experience through Grand Teton National Park. A guided fishing float trip on the Snake River offers exceptional fishing, fine wildlife viewing and spectacular scenery.
Beginners or experts alike will enjoy casting from the comfort of a drift boat, to an endless variety of cutthroat habitat. Our boats accommodate 2 anglers, plus guide. If you have a partner not interested in fishing, our trips are equally enjoyable for the casual spectator.
As an authorized concessionaire of the National Park Service, Triangle X Ranch can utilize four different stretches of the Snake River entirely within Grand Teton National Park. With a limited number of commercial fishing trips allowed in the Park, these stretches of the Snake remain less crowded than others, allowing plenty of room for all anglers. The Snake River offers an exceptional fishing experience.
A unique feature of the Snake is casting to the native, Snake River Fine-Spotted Cutthroat Trout. These wild and indigenous trout, found nowhere else in the world, are renowned for their fondness of the dry-fly.

Extra:

What to Bring:
We strongly advise you to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Since mountain weather is often unpredictable we recommend you bring rain gear for the potential afternoon thunderstorms. While most of the fishing is done from the drift boat it is helpful to bring wading shoes (not flip flops, old tennis shoes work great) which will allow access to water the boat can't reach. Waders are not necessary during the warmer months of the summer.
A break-down of the day :
Our trips meet at Triangle X Ranch - 26-miles north of Jackson. Your guide will meet you at the prearranged time, confirmed when your trip is booked. You can purchase fishing licenses at the ranch on the day of the trip.
Then it is a short drive to the river launch site where you will begin your day. Full day trips will spend up to 8 hours on the river with a break around noon to feast on a hearty lunch. Short day trips spend 4-5 hours on the water. At the end of the trip your guide will take you back to your vehicle at Triangle X Ranch.
Yellowstone
Early in the season when rivers are high and muddy, you'll enjoy action on the Lakes in Yellowstone in search of Yellowstone Cutthroat, Brown Trout or Mackinaw (L ake Trout). A walk-in fishing trip on the Firehole river is a most rewarding experience as you'll fish amongst grazing herds of elk and bison, with steaming geysers as your backdrop.
Teton Wilderness
The thrill of a pack-trip into one of the country's largest wilderness areas is a spectacular way to enjoy solitude, magnificent scenery, wildflowers, and great fishing.
